Options & Pricing

Memorial Reef Options

We have four Memorial Reef options with prices starting at $2,000. All Reefs, at a minimum, include the following:

  • Your Memorial Reef will be named in your honor and the specific longitude and latitude of its location will be published in local nautical charts
  • Your named reef will be permanently displayed on the OAR interactive website with its coordinates
  • An official OAR certificate displaying your reef’s GPS location
  • Periodic monitoring by the OAR dive team. Pictures and survey results of your reef will be posted on the site when the dive team conducts reef surveys
  • Eligible as a tax deduction

Existing Reef: $2,000

One of our reefs has already been deployed but is unnamed. We have various size reefs available for naming. This option includes:

  • A GPS survey to record the specific longitude and latitude of the Memorial Reef
  • OAR Reefs Memorial Certificates displaying your reef's GPS location
  • OAR dive team monitors the condition of the reef in future years
  • Eligible as a tax deduction
Fish

Small Memorial Reef: $3,000

This is our smallest Memorial Reef and weighs approximately 150lbs. This Reef is constructed and then permanently attached to a larger Reef that is already deployed. It includes:

  • Handling the cremated remains and incorporating them into the reef
  • Plaque with inscription permanently affixed to the reef
  • Final placement and dedication
  • A GPS survey to record the specific longitude and latitude of the Memorial Reef
  • OAR Memorial Reef Certificate displaying your reef's GPS location
  • The OAR dive team monitors the condition of the reef
  • Eligible as a tax deduction

Large Memorial Reef: $3,500

This is our largest and most popular Memorial Reef. It weighs 6,000lbs, stands over 8 feet tall and includes:

  • Handling the cremated remains and incorporating them into the reef
  • Plaque with inscription permanently affixed to the reef
  • Final placement and dedication
  • A GPS survey to record the specific longitude and latitude of the Memorial Reef
  • OAR Memorial Reef Certificate displaying your reef's GPS location
  • The OAR dive team monitors the condition of the reef
  • Eligible as a tax deduction

Custom Pricing

We can create a Memorial Reef of your design. OAR staff will work with you to help develop a solution that ensures your reef will be unique but also possess the durable characteristics of our other Reefs.
